| The
crystals from Socotó are known as some of the most brilliant
and beautiful Brazilian emeralds. Often, hundreds of tons of rock have to be removed, crushed, washed and sorted to obtain just a few grams of rough emeralds. Suitable stones for cutting into fine gems that reach greater values than rough diamonds are rare. Our mine is 74m deep and has more than 500m of trenches, as well as several outcroppings. |
