classifies gems using the same internationally recognized criteria
accepted by major gemological institutions such as the GIA and
Idar-Oberstein. Our experts continually keep up to date by taking
gemology courses overseas.
To certify the authenticity of precious stones, D.Kläy
uses high precision Swiss and German instruments (magnifying
glass, refractometer, spectrometer, immersion microscopes, Mettler-Toledo
scales for carats and specific weights, polarizing filters and
testing liquids).
